Bureau of Food Policy Integration

In collaboration with other Bureau Programs, Bureau of Food Policy Integration develops, coordinates and implements the Food Directorate's policy framework and initiatives. This includes the conduct of policy analysis, research and contributing to the development of strategies and options defining realistic and feasible alternatives to address major human safety and nutrition challenges in Canada.

The Bureau also provides recommendation on policy and program interfaces with other Health Products and Food Branch Programs, and provides advice on policy and standard priorities to the CFIA for the purpose of integrated program planning.
