Planning and Operations Division

The Planning and Operations Division provides leadership to the Public Affairs, Consultations and Communications Branch (PACCB) in the areas of strategic planning, human resources, contract and finances.

The planning team is responsible for building and promoting the mandate of PACCB, along with coordinating branch input into strategic and business planning and corporate reporting.

The goal of the operations team is to ensure that human financial resources are managed effectively and efficiently. The team is responsible for:

  • preparing annual directorate work plans;
  • staffing and classification;
  • learning, personal development plans, official languages, employment equity; and
  • succession plans.

The Planning and Operations Division strives to continuously review branch management practices and to provide the means by which managers and staff can deliver responsive, well-coordinated communications.
