Product Description
Delima Raja Urat is promoted as a traditional Malay medicine used to treat back pain, muscle pain, numbness, weakness and gout.
Cao Gen Bai Lin Wan is promoted as a traditional Chinese medicine used for relaxing muscles, improving blood circulation and relieving pain.

Reason for Warning
The Singapore Health Sciences Authority (HSA) warned consumers to not buy or use Delima Raja Urat or Cao Gen Bai Lin Wan after they were found to contain undeclared pharmaceutical ingredients.
Delima Raja Urat contains undeclared dexamethasone, chlorpheniramine, pheniramine and sibutramine, while Cao Gen Bai Lin Wan contains undeclared dexamethasone and chlorpheniramine.
Dexamethasone is a steroidal prescription drug used to treat inflammatory conditions such as arthritis and allergic reactions. It should only be taken under the supervision of health care practitioner.
Chlorpheniramine and pheniramine are over-the-counter antihistamine drugs used to relieve allergy symptoms.
Sibutramine is a prescription drug used to treat obesity. It should only be taken under the supervision of a health care practitioner.
Possible Side-Effects
Side-effects associated with dexamethasone include irregular heartbeat, increased blood pressure, stomach ulcer, blood disorders, skin, muscle and bone damage, and nervous system disorders.
Side-effects associated with antihistamine drugs include (but are not limited to) drowsiness, dizziness, confusion and blurred vision.
Side-effects associated with sibutramine include increased blood pressure and heart rate, dry mouth, difficulty sleeping and constipation.
