Product Names: Jin Yuan Pai Xue Guan Qing Dao Fu Jiao Nang and Kam Yuen Brand Xue Guan Qing Dao Fu tablet
Manufacturer / Place of Origin: The Hong Kong importer for Jin Yuan Pai Xue Guan Qing Dao Fu Jiao Nang is unknown. The Hong Kong importer of Kam Yuen Brand Xue Guan Qing Dao Fu tablet is Kam Yuen Medicine Company.
Product Description
These two products are promoted as Chinese medicine used for male sexual enhancement.

Reason for Warning
The Hong Kong Department of Health (HKDH) warned consumers to not buy or use these two products after they were found to contain undeclared sildenafil.
Sildenafil is a prescription drug used to treat erectile dysfunction. It should only be taken under the supervision of a health care practitioner.
The HKDH instructed the importers to recall the product from the Hong Kong market.
Possible Side-Effects
Sildenafil should never be used by individuals taking any kind of nitrate drug (e.g. nitroglycerine) as it can cause potentially life-threatening low blood pressure. Individuals with heart problems are at increased risk of cardiovascular side-effects such as heart attack, stroke, chest pain, high blood pressure and abnormal heart beat. Other side-effects include headache, facial flushing, indigestion, dizziness, abnormal vision, and hearing loss.
