Product Description
Huiji Yin Chiao Chieh Tu Pien comes packaged in bottles of 60 capsules. The product's use, or indication, is unknown

Reason for Warning
The Singapore Health Sciences Authority recalled one batch (batch# JG0825, expiry date 08/2009) of Huiji Yin Chiao Chieh Tu Pien after this batch was found to contain undeclared paracetamol and chlorpheniramine.

Paracetamol, also known as acetaminophen, is an ingredient used in both over-the-counter and prescription drugs to treat fever and pain. Chlorpheniramine is an over-the-counter antihistamine drug used to treat allergy symptoms.

Possible Side-Effects
Long-term use of high doses of paracetamol may cause serious liver damage.

Side-effects associated with chlorpheniramine include drowsiness, dizziness, confusion and blurred vision.
