News Release: Harper Government Announces Funding to Support Case Managers in the Health Care Sector
The Harper Government will provide funding of $309,800 over two years to the National Case Management Network (NCMN) for the organization to deliver the second phase of their case management project called Promoting Excellence and Professionalism for Case Management in Canada.

This will build on Phase I of this project which was entitled, Developing Case Management in Canada: Standards of Practice, Learning Resources and Professional Association, which focused on promoting professionalism among case managers and was completed in fiscal year 2010-11.

The National Case Management Network (NCMN)
The NCMN is a federally incorporated non-profit organization dedicated to the support and advancement of case management providers. It supports the professional development of care workers through education, networking opportunities and the establishment of standards of practice. Under NCMN leadership, case managers across the country and across sectors are also collaborating to bring together evidence and best practices to the practice of case management.
