Follow-up of the Review of the Administration of the Health Information and Claims Processing System Contract with First Canadian Health - March 8, 2007

Summary

In a report approved by the Departmental Audit and Evaluation Committee on April 7, 2005, the Audit and Accountability Bureau made a number of observations and recommendations on the administration of the Health Information and Claims Processing System Contract between Health Canada and First Canadian Health Management Corporation Inc. All recommendations were addressed to the Assistant Deputy Minister, First Nations and Inuit Health Branch.

We are satisfied that all recommendations have been either fully implemented or addressed in a satisfactory manner.
