The first pillar is social/cultural, which includes social status, social support networks, education, social environment, personal health practices, coping skills, healthy child development, and gender and culture. The second pillar is nature/environment, which includes physical environment (clean air, clean and abundant water, food safety etc.) and biological and genetic endowment.
