Balloons
Balloons add colour and create a festive atmosphere for any occasion. They should be used for decoration only and not for play.
Balloons pose a serious choking hazard to children of all ages. A balloon can block a child's airway if ingested or inhaled. This can result in the serious injury or death of a child. Deaths have occurred in children as old as 9 years.
Safety Tips

- Always keep un-inflated balloons or broken balloon pieces out of the reach of children.
- Adults should always inflate balloons.
- Supervise children when balloons are around.
