A stationary activity centre is a small structure for a baby to sit up and play while being enclosed. These centres are usually mounted on a platform and have a tray.
Babies like to rock, jump and bounce when they are in one of these centres. If the centre tips over, your baby could be hurt or trapped under it.

When babies are in one of these centres, they can reach OUT. They can reach UP. They may grab things that they should not have. They may pull things down on top of their heads. If you put your baby in a stationary activity centre, stay with the baby at all times.
Before placing a baby in a stationary activity centre, check the toys on the activity centre to make sure they are not broken or loose. Sharp points can cut. Small pieces can choke your baby.
