Under the authority of the Pest Control Products Act, Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) has added new uses on carrots to the product label of Ranman 400 SC Agricultural Fungicide, containing technical grade cyazofamid. The specific uses approved in Canada are detailed on the label of Ranman 400 SC Agricultural Fungicide, Pest Control Products Act Registration Number 27984.

A corresponding maximum residue limit (MRL) was proposed in the consultation document published on 27 February 2009, Proposed Maximum Residue Limit PMRL2009-10, Cyazofamid. The PMRA received no comments in response to this consultation.

To comply with Canada's international trade obligations, consultation on the proposed MRL was also conducted internationally by notifying the World Trade Organization, as coordinated by the Standards Council of Canada. No comments were received as a result of the World Trade Organization consultation.

The following MRL takes legal effect as of the publication date of this document and is in addition to the MRLs already established for cyazofamid.
