Under the authority of the Next link will take you to another Web site Pest Control Products Act, Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) has added a new use on bushberries (Crop Subgroup 13-07B) to the product label of Actara 25WG Insecticide, containing technical grade thiamethoxam. The specific use approved in Canada is detailed on the label of Actara 25WG Insecticide, Pest Control Products Act Registration Number 28408.

A corresponding maximum residue limit (MRL) was proposed in the consultation document published on 11 December 2009, Proposed Maximum Residue Limit PMRL2009-19, Thiamethoxam. The PMRA received no comments in response to this consultation.

To comply with Canada's international trade obligations, consultation on the proposed MRL was also conducted internationally by notifying the Next link will take you to another Web site World Trade Organization, as coordinated by the Next link will take you to another Web site Standards Council of Canada. No comments were received as a result of the World Trade Organization consultation.

The following MRL takes legal effect as of the publication date of this document and replaces the 0.02 ppm MRL previously in effect for bushberries which were captured under "All food crops (other than those listed in this item)".
