Under the authority of the Next link will take you to another Web site Pest Control Products Act, Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) has established a maximum residue limit (MRL) for deltamethrin in or on olives to permit the import and sale of foods containing such residues.

A corresponding MRL was proposed in the consultation document published on 25 March 2010, Proposed Maximum Residue Limit PMRL2010-25, Deltamethrin. The PMRA received no comments in response to this consultation.

To comply with Canada's international trade obligations, consultation on the proposed MRL was also conducted internationally by notifying the Next link will take you to another Web site World Trade Organization, as coordinated by the Next link will take you to another Web site Standards Council of Canada. No comments were received as a result of the World Trade Organization consultation.

The following MRL for deltamethrin takes legal effect as of the publication date of this document.
