Under the authority of the Next link will take you to another Web site Pest Control Products Act, Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) has added new uses on field corn, popcorn and sweet corn to the product labels of Primextra II Magnum Agricultural Herbicide and Primextra II Magnum, containing technical grade atrazine. The specific uses approved in Canada are detailed on the labels of Primextra II Magnum Agricultural Herbicide and Primextra II Magnum, Pest Control Products Act Registration Numbers 29358 and 25730, respectively.

Corresponding maximum residue limits (MRLs) were proposed in the consultation document published on 18 November 2010, Proposed Maximum Residue Limit PMRL2010-59, Atrazine. The PMRA received no comments in response to this consultation.

To comply with Canada's international trade obligations, consultation on the proposed MRLs was also conducted internationally by notifying the Next link will take you to another Web site World Trade Organization, as coordinated by the Next link will take you to another Web site Standards Council of Canada. No comments were received as a result of the World Trade Organization consultation.

The following MRLs for atrazine take legal effect in Canada as of the publication date of this document.
