The number of dead bees represents the estimated number of dead bees observed in front of affected colonies in an individual beeyard. The number of yards that reported <100 dead bees: 2012 = 15; 2013 = 10; 2014 = 24. The number of yards that reported 100-500 dead bees: 2012 = 87; 2013 = 176; 2014 = 79. The number of yards that reported 500-1000 dead bees: 2012 = 56; 2013 = 67; 2014 = 15. The number of yards that reported >1000 dead bees: 2012 = 61; 2013 = 106; 2014 = 24.
