What are IMEPs?
- DIR95-05
- Pest control products (technical or formulated) imported solely for the purpose of manufacturing and export.
- To encourage the use of Canadian technology.
- To allow Canadian manufacturers to establish outside ventures.
IMEP Overview
- Registration is given for the imported product, not the exported product.
- Imported product must be approved for sale or registered in an OECD country.
- Importers should also be the exporters as no sale is allowed in Canada under the IMEP.
