Summary

Mosquito and Other Biting Flies category includes the use of insecticides into water or on/over land, by ground application only, for the control of mosquitoes and other biting flies. It includes control of all stages (egg, larvae, pupae and adults) of mosquitoes and other biting flies. The knowledge requirements described in this module are additional to the knowledge requirements detailed in the Applicator Core (will be referred in the main text as "the Core") common to all certification categories. This module adds details to sections in the Core, where it is necessary to include Mosquito and Other Biting Flies specific information. An outline of the knowledge requirement for the Mosquito and Other Biting Flies Module is presented on the following page. This outline shows which sections of the Core have been expanded in the module.
