The Natural Health Products Directorate (NHPD) is seeking your feedback on changes proposed to the current NHP site licensing model and the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standard for NHPs as well as the information required to be provided at the time a product licence application is submitted.

These proposed changes have been outlined in a new Risk-Based Approach to Site Licensing (RBASL) Concept Paper.

Reporting to Canadians

All comments received during the consultation period will be considered before any decisions are made by Health Canada. The NHPD will produce a final report summarizing stakeholder comments and outlining the next steps of the project. This report will be made available on the Health Canada website.
