Consultation - Message to natural health product stakeholders regarding development of pre-cleared information

The Natural Health Products Directorate (NHPD) is seeking your feedback on ten newly proposed monographs for ingredients.  The new pre-cleared information is available as follows:

New pre-cleared information

• Acai (Euterpe oleracae)
• Cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum)
• Maca (Lepidium meyenii)
• Male genital desensitizers
• Benzocaine
• Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum)
• Sage - Buccal and Topical (Salvia officinalis)
• Sage - Oral (Salvia officinalis)
• Tribulus (Tribulus terrestris)
• Monograph based on the theory of traditional Chinese medicine
