In an effort to better serve our stakeholders, the Office of Cannabis Medical Access is revising its methods of data presentation. This page will evolve over the coming months to reflect this initiative.

• Possession of Dried Marihuana
  • 750 persons are currently allowed to possess marihuana for medical purposes
    • 639 hold an Authorization to Possess dried marihuana under the Marihuana Medical Access Regulations (MMAR)
    • 111 hold an Exemption for possession under Section 56 of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA)
      
      
• Cultivation/Production of Marihuana
  • 549 persons are currently allowed to cultivate/produce marihuana for medical purposes
    • 384 hold a Personal-Use Production Licence under the Marihuana Medical Access Regulations (MMAR)
    • 70 hold a Designated-Person Production Licence under the Marihuana Medical Access Regulations (MMAR)
    • 92 hold an Exemption for cultivation/production under Section 56 of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA)
    • 3 holds a designated person Exemption for cultivation/production under Section 56 of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA)
      
      
• Distribution of Dried Marihuana and Marihuana Seeds
  • 55 persons are currently receiving dried marihuana for medical purposes under the Policy on Supply of Marihuana Seeds and Dried Marihuana for Medical Purposes
  • 15 persons have received marihuana seeds for medical purposes under the Policy on Supply of Marihuana Seeds and Dried Marihuana for Medical Purposes
  • 8 persons were allowed to receive dried marihuana (for up to four (4) months) and received marihuana seeds for medical purposes under the Policy on Supply of Marihuana Seeds and Dried Marihuana for Medical Purposes
