In an effort to better serve our stakeholders, the Office of Cannabis Medical Access is revising its methods of data presentation. This page will evolve over the coming months to reflect this initiative.

• Possession of Dried Marihuana
  • 710 persons are currently allowed to possess marihuana for medical purposes
    • 608 hold an Authorization to Possess dried marihuana under the Marihuana Medical Access Regulations (MMAR)
    • 102 hold an Exemption for possession under Section 56 of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA)
      
      
• Cultivation/Production of Marihuana
  • 532 persons are currently allowed to cultivate/produce marihuana for medical purposes
    • 383 hold a Personal-Use Production Licence under the Marihuana Medical Access Regulations (MMAR)
    • 62 hold a Designated-Person Production Licence under the Marihuana Medical Access Regulations (MMAR)
    • 84 hold an Exemption for cultivation/production under Section 56 of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA)
    • 3 holds a designated person Exemption for cultivation/production under Section 56 of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA)
