Throughout the past ten months the Transition Team has worked diligently to determine ways for the Office to implement the 53 recommendations made by the Standing Committee on Health. During this period they have made substantive progress in conceptualizing a proposed regulatory framework for natural health products.

The Transition Team's work will lay the foundation for a fresh start in the regulation of natural health products in Canada and act as a catalyst in helping to move Canada toward a more pro-active, holistic health care system.
