Fees

The Veterinary Drug Evaluation Fees Regulations came into effect on April 1, 1996. You are required to complete a Veterinary Drug Fee Application Form with each submission. To complete a request for an Emergency Drug Release (EDR), or an Experimental Studies Certificate (ESC) please use the individual forms for this purpose found on the index page of Forms and Guides. Photocopies are acceptable.

Please submit with each submission a completed Veterinary Drug Submission Fee Application Form and forward with your remittance to the above address. Cheques are to be made payable to the "Receiver General for Canada" in Canadian funds from a Canadian bank. The Drug Submission Application form (HPB 3011) is still required with each submission. Foreign customers may obtain a Bank Draft or International Money Order in Canadian Funds from their financial institution, if available.

Please include with your submission in your covering letter to the VDD, the method by which you intend to forward your remittance. The originating company, product name, and the Directorate indicator "FD-VD" must also accompany any financial documentation being sent directly to HPB Finance.
