Health Canada's Veterinary Drugs Directorate (VDD) would like to thank you for your input to the Animal Ingredient Form for New Drug Submissions (AIF-NDS) consultation held in 2005. All received comments from stakeholders have been reviewed and taken into consideration in the final draft of the document. The finalized AIF-NDS will become an integral component of the Guidance for Industry - Preparation of Veterinary New Drug Submissions (NDS) guidelines and will help VDD to create an up-to-date database for all animal-sourced ingredients used in the fabrication of veterinary drug products indicated for food-producing animals.
