Tips for Healthy Indoor Air
Canadians spend most of their time indoors: at home, at work, in school and in commercial or recreational buildings. Indoor air pollution can sometimes be worse than outdoor air pollution so this section looks at strategies to minimize pollutants and maximize indoor air quality.
The top three strategies:
- Source control: to prevent pollutants from getting into the air.
- Ventilation: to keep air pollutants at low levels.
- Air cleaning: to remove pollutants that are already in the air.
