The Consumer and Clinical Radiation Protection Bureau is conducting a consultation of amendments to Safety Code 34. This document has been developed to provide updated guidance to industry (manufacturers, importers, distributors and users) in terms of compliance requirements, roles and responsibilities, and definitions.
Your comments and suggestions on this draft amended Safety Code 34 are welcomed. Interested parties will have an opportunity to comment on the proposed Guidance Document starting April 30, 2012. The comment period will close July 31, 2012.
Comments will be evaluated and a final guidance document will be posted on this website.This consultation is open for comment starting April 30, 2012 until July 31, 2012. Interested parties are encouraged to provide comments and suggestions by July 31, 2012.
Following the consultation, Health Canada will make available the final Safety Code on this website.
