Health Canada, through its Emergency Preparedness and Occupational Health Directorate (EPOHD), provides national leadership to enhance healthy living for all working Canadians, develop health policy and advance best practices in the workplace.

Employee Assistance Services (EAS) is one of the largest national Employee Assistance Program (EAP) providers in Canada. We are recognized for effectively responding to the ever-changing needs of public and government-regulated organizations and for adapting and designing programs to meet their specific requirements. We strive to maintain the highest level of professionalism and presently serve more than 140 organizations and over one million clients across the country!

Highest Level of Accreditation

EAS has been accredited with the highest quality standard (gold) of the industry as set out by the  Employee Assistance Society of North America (EASNA).

The Council of Accreditation (COA) carries out in-depth assessments of EAS' compliance with best practices in the EAP industry as set out by EASNA.

• The EAS team is focused on offering a personalized and efficient service to client organizations in Canada's 10 provinces and 3 territories, as well as abroad. We have offices in Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, Edmonton and Vancouver.
• Thanks to our diverse network of professional counsellors, EAS can promptly identify a mental health professional located within a client's community.
• A toll-free, 24-Hour Crisis and Referral Center, staffed with bilingual counsellors who have a minimum of a master's degree and are trained in crisis and suicide prevention, is open 24/hrs a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
• A Case Management team focused on providing the highest quality service to our clients while respecting the strict procedures and policies of the COA.
• A Quality Assurance team ensures that the counselling services we offer are fully confidential, professional, and appropriate.
