Dear Client:

Thank you for participating in the April 2004 to March 2005 intercomparison programs offered by the National Calibration Reference Centre for Bioassay and In Vivo Monitoring (NCRC).

Preparations are now underway for the April 2005 to March 2006 programs. Once again the NCRC is not charging. As in past years, participants in all intercomparison programs will be responsible for the cost of sample shipment. Please contact program staff for information on these costs. The Whole Body and Lung intercomparisons require each facility to provide assistance unloading and loading phantoms during site visits.

If you plan to participate in the intercomparison programs during the coming fiscal year, 1 April 2005 to 31 March 2006, please complete the attached form and return it by 15 March 2005.

Current NCRC Service Standards are attached for your information. A questionnaire is also included with this letter. We are continuing to seek your assistance to make our reports shorter, more useful and more user friendly. Thank you in advance for taking a few minutes to give us your suggestions.

It is our pleasure to offer the intercomparison programs and we look forward to your continued participation.

Sincerely,

Anthony Dawson
