Adapting to Extreme Heat Events: Guidelines for Assessing Health Vulnerability

Health regions within Quebec have been colour coded indicting that some regions have similar climate and the same thresholds for calling a heat alert, where as other regions have different climate and thresholds. There are four different types of grouping that roughly correspond to the health region's latitude, such that northern health regions have lower temperature thresholds than do southern health regions for calling a heat alert.
