A Venn diagram, with three circles, demonstrates three risk factors associated with increased susceptibility to heat-related illness. When exposed to heat a person with chronic illness, taking certain medications and living alone are all at increased risk. When two of these risk factors overlap, they are at a higher risk, and where all three risk factors overlap a person is at the highest risk.
