Description - Equation for calculating the external dose from groundshine for radionuclide x

In order to calculate the external dose from groundshine for radionuclide x (Dx,ext/gnd) the concentration of radionuclide x in soil in units becquerels per kilogram should be multiplied by the dose coefficient for groundshine for radionuclide x (DCx,ext/gnd) in units of Sievert meter cubed per becquerel per second, then multiplied by the soil density in kilogram per meter cubed, then multiplied by the conversion factor from seconds to years of 3.16 times 10 to the exponent of positive seven, then multiplied by the occupancy factor of 0.25 and finally converted from Sieverts to millisieverts by multiplying by 1000.
