Description - Equation for calculating the internal dose from ingestion of soil for radionuclide x

In order to calculate the internal dose from ingestion of soil for radionuclide x (Dx,ingest/soil) the concentration of radionuclide x in units becquerels per kilogram should be multiplied by the dose coefficient for ingestion for radionuclide x in units Sievert per becquerel, then multiplied by the soil ingestion rate in kilogram per year, then multiplied by the occupancy factor of 0.25, and finally converted from Sieverts to millisieverts by multiplying by 1000.
