Description - Equation for calculating the internal dose from inhalation of airborne material for radionuclide x

In order to calculate the internal dose from inhalation of airborne material for radionuclide x (Dx,inhal/air) the concentration of radionuclide x in air in units becquerels per meter cubed should be multiplied by the dose coefficient for inhalation for radionuclide x (DCx,inhal) in units Sievert per becquerel, then multiplied by the inhalation rate in meters cubed per year, then multiplied by the exposure factor of 0.25, and finally converted from Sieverts to millisieverts by multiplying by 1000.
