Description - Figure 5 - Recommended measurement locations for follow-up post mitigation testing for buildings that have undergone radon mitigation actions

This image provides recommended measurement locations for follow-up post mitigation testing for buildings that have undergone mitigation actions to reduce radon levels.  In a post mitigation situation tests should be conducted in the same location where the original radon measurements were taken.  In an extended testing situation, the original locations (T) are re-tested along with new locations (E).  The extended testing of other locations is based on the building type, the room occupancy and the floors above and below ground.  For a first floor level that is not in direct contact with the ground or a crawl space, test every 3rd occupied room.  For top occupied floors of the building, test every 3rd occupied room.  Buildings with five floors or more tests every 5th floor (e.g. Floor 5, 10, 15, 20, 25…) and test every 3rd occupied room.
