This service includes the following activities:

Participation in an ISO TC85/SC2/Working Group 13 for the development of an ISO standard on Bioassay Performance Criteria, in collaboration with other bioassay and health physics experts from France, Germany, the U.S., the U.K., Spain, Japan, Finland, Sweden, the Next link will take you to another Web site International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), and the Next link will take you to another Web site International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP) in the development of bioassay and personnel monitoring standards.

Participation in the Next link will take you to another Web site Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC)-sponsored Working Group in Internal Dosimetry. Collaboration with other experts in health physics and internal dosimetry from universities, hospitals and in the nuclear industry.

Participation as an invited speaker at workshops to discuss findings of research projects and/or to share expertise with other attendees. Member of Reviewers' or Consultants' Panels that review and provide guidance in the conduct of studies or the development of standards. Examples: CNSC-sponsored Study of in vitro Solubility of Uranium Aerosols in Simulated Lung Fluid ; ANSI 13.39 Standard for the Design of Internal Dosimetry Programs.

Training visiting scientists/technologists in radionuclide urinalysis methodology and internal dosimetry. Examples: Visitors from Argentina, Algeria, South Korea the Université de Montréal.
