Consultation on Nutrition for Healthy Term Infants: Recommendations from Six to 24 Months

Health Canada is conducting an open consultation on the draft statement: Nutrition for Healthy Term Infants - Recommendations from Six to 24 Months.  This is a joint statement from the Canadian Paediatric Society, Dietitians of Canada, Breastfeeding Committee for Canada and Health Canada. The statement contains evidence-informed recommendations to assist health professionals in communicating consistent guidance on infant and young child nutrition to Canadian parents and caregivers.

Guidance on nutrition from birth to six months was published in 2012 in a separate statement.

All input received from stakeholders will be considered in finalizing the statement.
