Terms of Reference

The Terms of Reference clearly states the objective(s) to be achieved by a subsidiary body established by the  Codex Alimentarius Commission (often simply referred to as Codex). The Terms of Reference for the Codex Committee on Food Labelling (CCFL) can be viewed  here.

Please refer to the table below for the documents in circulation for comments. In order to assist in the development of a Canadian response to the host country and to the Codex Secretariat, comments are invited to be submitted by the due date indicated.

Your reply should be forwarded to the office of the Codex Contact Point for Canada. In your response, please include:

• the document reference number in the subject line of the email;
• your comment(s) and proposed new text, if applicable; and,
• a rationale in support of your comment(s).
