Long description:

This is a sample label for a 473 mL energy drink product. The required statement of "High caffeine content" is bolded and included below the Nutrition Facts table in this example. Under this statement is the word 'Caution' in bold, followed by the required caution statements: "Do not consume more than 2 cans daily", "Not recommended for children, pregnant or breastfeeding women and individuals sensitive to caffeine", and "Do not mix with alcohol". The contents of caffeine (160 mg) and taurine (2000 mg) per can are indicated just above the ingredient list; all of these components are in bold. Ingredients are listed as per labelling requirements. Please refer to the Nutrition Labelling section of the CFIA's website for more information regarding specifications for the Nutrition Facts table.
