Expert Advisory Committee on Dietary Reference Intakes

Health Canada has made use of Expert Advisory Committees in the past when implementing Dietary Reference Intakes into dietary guidance.

With the publication of the new DRI report on Calcium and Vitamin D, Health Canada has engaged the  Canadian Academy of Health Sciences to form an independent Expert Advisory Committee on Dietary Reference Intakes that can provide advice on issues related to the implementation of these new DRI values into policies and guidance.
