Food Risk Analysis Publication: Risk Assessment of Exposure to Trans Fat in Canada

Background

In 2011, Health Canada's Food Directorate completed a risk assessment of exposure to trans fat in Canada. The purpose of this document is to summarize the health risks associated with trans fat intakes and report on Health Canada's findings from monitoring trans fat levels in foods in Canada (2005-2009).
