Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) Dental Benefits Guide.
NOTICE: NIHB is centralizing the processing of dental predetermination submissions and related requests at NIHB Heaquarters in Ottawa.
The effective dates when the new National Dental Predetermination Centre in Ottawa will begin/has begun processing dental predetermination, client reimbursement and appeal requests are as follows: September 1, 2012 Northern Region - October 1, 2012 Saskatchewan - November 1, 2012 Atlantic Region - February 1, 2013 Quebec - April 1, 2013 Ontario - June 1, 2013 Alberta - September 1, 2013 Manitoba.
As per the effective dates above, clients should submit all requests for reimbursement of dental services to the NDPC in Ottawa.
