Clarification Notice: Winter 2008/09 Drug Benefit List Update

If you have received a hard copy of the Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) Winter 2008/2009 Drug Benefit List Update, please note this correction.

Section Status Change for Proton Pump Inhibitors states:

"Effective April 1, 2009, the limited use criteria for Pantoloc (20mg and 40mg tablets), Prevacid (15mg and 30mg capsules) and Losec 10mg tablets will be:"

The Non-Insured Health Benefit program has not added Pantoloc 20mg tablets as a limited use benefit to the Drug Benefit List. Pantoloc 20mg tablets remain 'not added to the formulary'.

The above text should read:
