2009-2010 Drug Strategy Community Initiatives Fund (DSCIF) Call for Proposals - Alberta

Note: The 2009-2010 call for proposals for this region is now closed and applications are no longer accepted.

Within the context of the two DSCIF Program priority areas, Alberta's priority will be placed on projects with a province-wide perspective/action to prevent illicit drug use among 'youth in care'.

Other proposals related to youth illicit drug use prevention, primarily in rural communities, may also be considered.

The Alberta Region will be accepting project proposals until July 31, 2009 for projects with a planned start date of April 2010.

All potential applicants must contact the Health Canada Drug Strategy Program Consultant at ab-dscif@hc-sc.gc.ca or by phone at 780-495-2626 prior to submitting a proposal.

Subsequently, a completed Proposal Application Form, including all attachments, may be sent electronically to ab-dscif@hc-sc.gc.ca directly or be mailed as a CD or floppy disk to the following address:
