Health Canada conducts activities to promote and monitor compliance with regulations made under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. In addition to municipal and provincial police forces, the following are the federal, American and international agencies involved in compliance and monitoring activities of controlled substances and precursor chemicals.

These links and documents are provided to help Canadian law enforcement agents and agencies keep abreast of national and international issues related to controlled drugs and substances.

  The DEA is the American federal enforcement agency that deals specifically with the control of drugs and substances.
