This workshop will present proven strategies to overcome the challenges of building healthy work relationships among nurses, physicians, pharmacists and other health workers, including:

• How to use conflict analysis to understand disputes and prevent and plan to address conflict in the health care setting;
• Techniques to control conflict and resolve disputes through individual skill application or institutional mechanisms;
• How to use negotiation and mediation skills in relevant professional situations; and
• Trends and developments in managing workplace conflict, poisoned work environment, conflict management systems, best practices.
