Public Involvement

The Assisted Human Reproduction Implementation Office (AHRIO) is committed to ensuring meaningful public involvement in the regulatory policy development under the Assisted Human Reproduction Act. AHRIO will involve provinces, territories, stakeholders and other interested parties in the development of the components for the regulatory framework which is comprehensive, workable and protects the health and safety of those undergoing AHR treatments.

AHRIO public involvement activities will include technical briefings on the legislation, topic specific workshops, and formal consultations on proposed policy options. Activities may also include focus groups or other public opinion research. AHRIO will post information on this Web site regarding the scheduling and participation in these public involvement activities.
