Welcome to the Laboratory.
Today's laboratory contains tools and processes that have been developed over the past decades into what is now known as modern Biotechnology. In other words, newer uses of biotechnology, such as gene therapy, xenotransplantation and stem cells rather than traditional methods such as using fungi to ferment cheese. These modern tools and processes are used to produce, assess and monitor products derived from Biotechnology.
Here you will find articles describing in detail aspects of modern biotechnology found in the laboratory.
