Notice: The Health Policy Research Program has been discontinued as of September 25, 2006. There is no longer funding available for applications that do not have a signed contribution agreement. Review of any applications at any stage has ended. Projects that have signed contribution agreements, and which will complete their work by March 31, 2007, will continue. Projects due to complete after March 31, 2007 have been terminated.

• Assessing the Effectiveness of Marketed Pharmaceutical Products in the "Real World" (RFP-001) Posted April 2001
  Thirty-one letters of intent (LOI) were received on May 16, 2001, five were ruled ineligible by HPRP staff, twenty-six were reviewed by a departmental policy review panel and twelve successful applicants were invited to submit a full proposal. • Migration Health Policy Workshop, Seminar or Conference (RFP-002) Posted July 20, 2001
  Two proposals were received on September 5, 2001, one was ruled ineligible by HPRP staff, one was reviewed by a departmental policy review panel and was not recommended for funding. After consideration, the Policy Research Working Group decided to revise and re-issue the Request for Proposals (December 3, 2001, RFP 005).

  Eight applications were received on March 5, 2003. One was ruled ineligible by HPRP staff, seven were reviewed by a departmental policy review committee which rated one as low policy impact.   Nine applications were received on January 27, 2005 and were reviewed by a scientific and policy review committee. Five were rejected and one is still under consideration.
