Health Canada engages with federal research granting agencies (
Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC),
Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC),
Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI),
Canada Health Services and Research Foundation (CHSRF)) and with federal science-based departments, including through the Assistant Deputy Minister (ADM) Science and Technology (S&T) Integration Board and the ADM S&T Committee.
Health Canada also maintains linkages with non-governmental science organizations such as the
Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada,
Research Canada, Association of Faculties of Medicine of Canada, and the
Association of Canadian Academic Healthcare Organizations.
